Ethernet dipping

The ethernet goes off randomly when starting it up, the pc cant even detect it.
Its not the cable cause ive plugged it into other devices and it works.
Resetting the pc doesn’t fix it however flicking the switch to the power on the back fixes it.
The ethernet does not go off every time i turn my pc off, id say at a guess once every 8 times it turns back on from being powered down.
The wifi always works no matter what.

I suggest you go over this guide, it will not only speed up the internet, it will stabilize it as well.

it is a repeated problem happens once every 10 boot ups (aprox) only way to fix is flicking on and off the switch on the power supply. these are photos of the icon and device manager when it happens

visit your motherboard’s manufactures website and download the network driver.
uninstall the current one, reboot PC, then install new one.
see if that helps.

what is the age of the PC?
it could be that the LAN adapter is faulty.

a new adapter (either wifi or ethernet) would bypass that issue.

The age of the pc is only a month, built it in late febuary mobo is ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WIFI) by asus tech

try reloading the LAN driver.

you could try these from an elevated command prompt;

[li]chkdsk /f[/li][li]sfc /scannow[/li][li]dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth[/li][li]dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase[/li][/ul]
if no luck, try creating another user account and logging in under that profile and see if things change.
also try starting Windows in Safe Mode and see if that helps.

failing that, I would backup my data, wipe the PC and reload Windows on a clean slate.
assumption is, the LAN was working when you initially got it, but some software or update you have applied has caused it to go pear shaped.

start afresh, and install one program at a time to try to isolate if incompatible software is the cause.
