Tried installing Adobe Flash but without success. I will download Chrome and try with that.

Try downloading the flash player from here. Take the checks out of Optional Offers

I also noticed that on the Adobe Flash help page they had solutions for problems for all Windows OSs right back to windows 95 & XP but do not mention Vista going on the windows 7. Maybe theyβve given up on Vista because it was so bad!!Comment

Your security software could be blocking Flash player form being installed. Disable 360 Total Security and any other security software and then try the install again and see it that allows it to go through. If it does or does not then re-enable it.Comment

Also you could download Revo from HERE and install it. That will tell us wether or not you can install software. If Revo installs open it and have a look in the list of software for Adobe flash or Shockwave in the list. If one or both are there uninstall them, and then try to reinstall flash.
EDIT POST, sorry I should have looked properly. It appears you already have Revo so see if the apps above are listed and if so use it to remove them.Comment
