^ I’m not sure exactly what is meant here. Is this refering to when the game freezes/hangs?

[HEADING=1]^ And is this step (along with the attached code box below it) something I should implement specifically when the GPU “hangs”?
Just trying to ensure I actually complete each step properly so as not to have you thinking something’s done when it isn’t.[/HEADING]
I just got on and I’m working through the suggestions.
You’re friggin’ tenacious with all these fixes. As frustrating as the problem is, I’m actually starting to enjoy hunting it down thanks to you.

^ I don’t think this was one of the registry edit’s or fixes that we’ve covered (unless it was the large code box from message #41).
Sorry if I missed it.
The only regedit keys I’ve made were the three your link: https://pchelpforum.net/resources/av...g-drivers.259/
I’ve looked up how to do the OverlayTestMode=5 fix now though. I’ll get it done. Just be aware that it wasn’t in place until now.
On a side note, while I was researching it just now, there were a lot of people saying that MPO was “mandatory” for dxgi on W11 as of 24H2. Not sure if that’s something I should give credence to.

OverlayTestMode=5 fix is done too. Gonna get to testing.
By the way, do you know which setting I need to enable/disable (maybe in SimpleWall) to allow windows to alleviate funky keyboard behaviour?
My keyboard layout is US qwerty (I’ve made it the default in windows settings) and it’s fine within windows but everywhere else (steam, chrome, discord etc.), it’s giving me the UK layout (swapping @ with ").

Not sure if it was the fresh/minimal drivers, rebuilding of the amd_ags_x64.dll, the disabling of MPO or something else that did it.
I wouldn’t call it conclusively solved since there are still a bunch of LiveKernelEvent errors being logged but as far as I can tell, in practical terms, it’s fixed!
[HEADING=1]My BIOS is still in optimized defaults + XMP. I will try implementing those voltage adjustments soon and see if I can get it to working but for now, I’m just going to enjoy this feeling of relief.[/HEADING]
[HEADING=1]The only minor annoyance remaining is my keyboard layout. It’s still going a little wild and changing to UK version whenever I use anything besides the windows search bar or settings. It’s a real oddity and more than a little frustrating. I’m looking into it.[/HEADING]
I really can not thank you guys enough. This issue has been a real headache and plagued me over the past month.
I’m fairly confident that I would’ve never got it solved without your assistance.

No just go ahead and do it as soon as possible. It is a fix that I[%20%22TdrDelay%22=dword:0000000a’] found online ]('https://pchelpforum.net/[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE%5CSYSTEM%5CCurrentControlSet%5C Control%5CGraphicsDrivers)that seems to help quite a lot of people.

Disabling MPO via OverlayTestMode = 5 is still fully supported in 24H2

If the game is running fine the way things are set then leave well enough alone. Or just keep a note of the way things are set now, and make sure you can revert back to it, maybe tak a picture.
