No, you can create a restore point. But we have completed many over this issue .

Cleaning your graphic driver and testing the hdd for errors, have never deleted any data as far as I know.

Also, be careful when you are inside the laptop, make sure and unplug and then remove the battery, then hold the power button down for 30 seconds before opening the case.

My notebook have no battery. There is no possibilty to remove it. Maybe you just could get some instructions what to do or check after oppening it and I’ll ask people in the service to do it?

You should maybe just have the service people do the job, if you do not feel comfortable. But you definitely need to see what’s going on inside from everything you described.

To be honest, I am a bit afraid to reinstall the graphic card driver - I don’t know what to expect and I am afraid that I’ll do something wrong.

Ok. You could test the hdd for errors, and if you are not confident enough to open the machine, I would suggest taking it somewhere. But do not take it to the same place, they do not seem very competent.

I have 3 notebooks. I just need this one to be repaired. It is not because I can’t have a new one, I just want it working.
