Defrag is probably setup to automatically preform automatically.

4% is not that bad can still be done yet not that bad.

Just to confirm that the system since the update is no longer allowing you to download updates or download yet you were able to download and use speccy?

Or is this just updating through a program specifically?

Are you using a browser and or the Apps for these programs?

      Tried a different browser?

Uninstall the App (if used) then reinstalling?

If browser have you tried resetting the browser?

Have you also attempted to reset the network setting on the system?

I am able to download things and do updates When it comes to discord and Spotify I have the program itself also steam for my games and for the yt and Google docs and all all that stuff I have tried Internet explorer chrome and opera Gx but still have issues the problem is when I started using the PC I was able to run multiple task with ease but since going to window 11 that seems impossible. The performance did increase slightly when I uninstalled macfee and reinstalled windows example the boot up time is slightly faster but when I get to opening programs even task manager or settings there is a 2 min delay in which they open the delay gets longer depending on the program I try to open. Then after I open everything I have to do what I want to do on the computer I have hitching or freezing thankfully the crashes have stopped I haven’t experienced any as of late but the hitching happens a solid 8 times out of 10 and its quite infuriating also some download for windows keep failing I have to press retry like 3 different times for it to finally download but one problem at a time I guess

There may be no fix since it was an update and not a fresh install. Left over part from Windows 10 could be messing with Windows 11. Which is why we will always suggest a fresh install over an upgrade for situations like this.

Bigger questions is do you want to keep fighting with Windows 11 like this or do a fresh install and or go back to Windows 10?

Please do not post as 1 solid paragraph makes it hard to follow, read. some things may get skipped.

So, you are using the Apps for which?

Each browser is affected the same way?

Would you recommend going back to window 10 or just wait till windows 11 fixes itself with all the updates that I do it’s bound to fix itself right?

                    Download and run KillEmAll
                    Unzip it to your desktop.
                    Right click run As admin.
This will kill all non essential processes.
Including your browser, so save anything you are working on prior to running the tool.
Let us know if there is any change in the issue after using killemall.
Do not reboot after using this tool, it is a temporary tool to kill non windows processes to see if that is an issue.

You can wait for Windows 11 to possibility fix itself or go back to Windows 10.

Yet if you go back to Windows 10 will require a complete wipe and reinstall.

                      https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10

You will have to use the Create Windows Media and make sure to have all of the Drivers for the system and install them in the proper order.

Ok. There are too many items starting with your computer. We can trim things up a bit, but I need to see what is going on…

Reboot the machine and then let it run a while then when it gets slow use Killemall and get me a log.

Download KillEmAll to your desktop and unzip it there.
Right click KillEmAll run as admin.
                              Click enter button.
                              Then click L
Then hit enter key on your keyboard.
                              A log file will appear.
Copy and paste that into your reply here.

                              Get System Info Log.

Include in your next reply a Get System Info log.
Save it to your desktop when complete.
Once you have the file on your desktop, then upload it here, and Here.
Copy the URL after your report is loaded.
                              Then send us the link.

Download Autoruns and Autorunsc Unzip it to your desktop and then right click
