    BOOT ORDER

I have a mini PC as below..

    NiPoGi GK3 Pro

I have a USB stick with a bootable installation of Linux on it

I wish to change the boot order ( I believe in the BIOS ) so that instead of booting from the internal SSD it boots from the USB stick attached to one of the USB ports.

I cannot see how I change the boot order

    please help

Boot Option #1 shows your SSD as the boot drive, this should allow you to change it to your removable media drive.

Can you take a picture of what options you have when you attempt to change it? Try plugging the USB into a different port and ensuring that it is plugged in and recognized.

Look under Main and Advance is usually where is has been found may be located elsewhere on this system.

          Look for something like
          F12 Boot Menu

Make sure that is set to Enabled.

Have seen some that are different keystrokes to access the boot menu most are the F12.

I changed USB drive to a different port and it is recognised in Windows.

How did you create the boot media? Did you use Rufus?

What version of Linux are you trying to run?

@PeterOz Knows more about creating bootable Unix drives than I do.

It could be that secure boot is stopping you access to boot from usb or your machine does not have the option to boot from usb.
Option 1) Turn off secure boot and see if this then gives an option to boot from usb
*NB if you turn off secure boot you will have to repair the current windows boot. You will loose access to windows
Option 2) use a boot manager like plop.

                          Secure boot made no difference…

Post a new secure boot screen again with secure boot turned off.
