    The computer let me install Windows 7 iOS from a USB, but idk what happened I let my sister in law use it and have not a clue what she did but now it won’t boot, read a boot device, or go past letting me in system settings and diagnostic test

    Hello

    One way to solve this is just re-install the OS.

    Please give us the complete Dell spec’s.

        Oh lol silly me, yes I had tried to use the restroom and install but it won’t go past the boot screen, it’s a Dell optiplex 780 dual core processor 6gb Ram and I’ve put a 500gb hard drive in it

          Well I wanted to try them both to see what form I like better. I have 7 on it, and I have an hp tower with 10 on it that should be here in a few days

                Would someone sell me something that only works for a few days from eBay? I’ve never got one from there till I bought this one. Would there be a way to get it fixed?

                            VERY VERY common for faulty goods to be sold there.

                              Couple of questions if I may;

                              Have you tried getting into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key while the computer is restarting.

                              From where was the Windows 7 media on the USB device obtained.

                              Can you check the Windows 7 USB device in another computer to make sure the media is good.

                              Have you changed the boot order in the BIOS so that it boots from the USB device first, the option is sometimes list as “external hard drive”

                              Is the 500GB HDD that you fitted detected and named in the BIOS, if yes, is it enabled as the first boot device.
