The computer let me install Windows 7 iOS from a USB, but idk what happened I let my sister in law use it and have not a clue what she did but now it won't boot, read a boot device, or go past letting me in system settings and diagnostic test

Couple of questions if I may;

Have you tried getting into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key while the computer is restarting.

From where was the Windows 7 media on the USB device obtained.

Can you check the Windows 7 USB device in another computer to make sure the media is good.

Have you changed the boot order in the BIOS so that it boots from the USB device first, the option is sometimes list as "external hard drive"

Is the 500GB HDD that you fitted detected and named in the BIOS, if yes, is it enabled as the first boot device.

Tip

If using a computer and not a mobile phone, please avoid adding multiple posts while waiting for us to reply to your last, edit your last post to include anything that you wish to add, this will ensure nothing gets overlooked which can sometimes happen if a thread has more than one page, it also avoids filling up folks inbox

Any update Donny dent?
Well, I've replaced the hard drives and the battery and tried just about everything but getting a new iOS disc. I'm trying to get a hold of one but now a bout broke. I don't have a landline so my internet is on my phone. And have no way to get the iOS from my phone to the system cuz I still don't have a second system yet

I had tried everything I could, but I did resolve this issue, turned out that PC was coded specific to his hard drive. Something to do with the coding he put on it. I had to replace almost the whole system to get it to read anything but his hard drive. But now it's working
