Custom Built Windows 7 Computer Won't Backup

So pretty much,
All of my families’ pictures ever taken since the 90s and all of our documents ever are on this PC, and I’m questioning the integrity of the data hard drive in it. I tried to setup a backup with a system image and the entire data drive, but all I’m getting is this message and it’s very frustrating. It would be almost devastating if we lost these files to a stupid error.

Eh, I’m very hesitant to trying a different program. I’ve been using windows backup since 2000 and it’s always been reliable. Macrium and Aomi sound kind of cheap, especially since they’re free…

Both Macrium and Aomei can also clone your hard drive making installing a new drive if you have to very easy. Yes they are free but they are not cheap (and nasty) software, rather well matured products. Just a suggestion…

No one posted that you had to switch you were give options of other avenues.

In post #4 you were also give two links to reference to for the error you were receiving.

It’s your call, but Windows backup is quite limited in its features compared to the backup apps suggested, which are both FREE, and NOT CHEAP AND NASTY.
