I did, immediately under the reply. I’m using the ethernet currently, the wireless router is working fine with my tablet and smartphone and was working fine with the PC for several months prior to this issue.

Have you tried using the USB adapter on another system could be that the device has died.

It was connected when you ran the speccy correct.

Was the device connected showing not in the speccy report.

Okay, thanks all for your time, I appreciate that this is a free forum but I have been polite and courteous throughout and at no point have I asked for or expected instant answers, or indeed, any answers, we’re all busy, after all, so I don’t appreciate being spoken to in this manner.
