Hi! I hoping that someone can help with my flight mode problem. I have a PC running Windows 10. It had been working with no problems about a month ago, when I had to move it and store it temporarily. A week ago I set it up again and since then it has not been able to detect my wireless router (or any other routers in the area) and this appears to be because it is stuck in flight mode. Occasionally flight mode icon appears when I click on the Network option on my homescreen, but if it does appear it is either greyed out or nothing happens when I click it. In the Network and Connections section of settings there is no option for flight mode or wireless. My wireless adapter does not appear in the list of Network devices in the Devices page. The router is working fine, my tablet and mobile connect without problem. I have managed to connect via ethernet, but this is a temporary solution. To date I have tried:
Keyboard shortcuts (there is no appropriate icon on any of my keyboards, but I have tried various key combinations anyway)
Resetting the network
Re-installing wi-fi adapter
Flushing DNS etc
Trying every setting of Radio Management
Restarting computer and router
Restoring PC to factory state
Essentially, all of the potential fixes that come up from an internet search Iβve tried and nothing has worked. There is also the question of why a desktop PC needs a flight mode, but thatβs another issue. Any help or suggestions that anyone can offer would be brilliant, thank you!
