I understand that computers are designed with the idea in mind that most people are stupid. But itβs very frustrating for regular people who just want to use their computers like they used to. I canβt for the life of me figure out windows 10 and I donβt have time to sit around all day learning about it either. I have reloaded my operating system like 8 times now because regardless of what settings I choose in disabling automatic updates, it just decides to download them anyway. Iβve gone on youtube videos and looked up how to disable permissions but my own computer has more authority over itself than I do apparently.
The main problem is I canβt afford to by a new computer right now. I only have 100 gigs on my laptops SD card and every single time I reload my OS it just says βHey we downloaded windows 11 for you!β. It takes up like 20 gigs of space in addition to the windows 10 OS literally half of my space on my hard drive is gone now. When I look up videos how to delete windows 11 I donβt even have permission to view the files apparently. Itβs not in the same location as all the other updates and when I search for my ENTIRE C drive it doesnβt show up. I am at a complete loss. I need help getting 100% permission over my own PC. If I mess it up I can just reload the operating system but I need to have some autonomy here.
