I have a decent gaming pc for the best part of three years now and especially recently i have started to notice that itβs performance hasnt been too great. I was debating maybe adding more RAM or something but i feel like now my hand has been forced as it has started freezing and becoming completely inoperable every once in a while now, on top of this its readings on task manager seem to be quite high particularly under the RAM heading. Iβm open to any solution be it downloading software or upgrading hardware, and any advice on some sort of software that can scan your hardware for problems or anything of the nature would be greatly appreciated.
freezing/deadlocking and all round bad performance

Uninstall Norton 360 - 22.22.8.15 with Geek Uninstaller.
Then reboot the machine and run the Norton Removal Tool.
Use O&O shutup ten, with suggested and somewhat suggested option ticked, reboot again and test, I will have a more detailed reply later, just let me know how things are after removing Norton, and running the O&O tool.Comment

Norton is know for causing performance issues, so before we do anything else, removing norton and reporting on how things are is the first step Iβd take if I were being paid to fix your machine.Comment

Iβve done all that and resting RAM usage remains mostly unchanged on task manager i will let you know if i continue having the same freezing issues. Removing my antivirus seems like a strange request (not to mention all the software i downloaded) but i shall give you the benefit of the doubt thanks for the help it is appreciated.Comment
