what audio device are you trying to get working - external speakers?
are they 3.5mm jack or USB connected?
whatever they are, try the other sort.
do headphones work when connected?
what happens if you start the PC in Safe Mode?
also try creating another user profile and logging in under that new account.
yes, both of those suggestions are long shots!
this thread is three days old now and this may be one of those situations where simply biting the bullet and reloading Windows is required.
yes, itโs a big hammer for a little problem, but it has an excellent chance of fixing the issue.
try resetting Windows keeping all the software and personal files.
if that fails, backup first, wipe the drive, and start from scratch. (y)Comment

Bit of a long shot - But try these drivers, including the realtek. Just downloaded several from the site and scanned with Eset End Point Security ( Esets business Class ) and all clean.

Did you try the Driver links on post #21 ? ( had to be approved by Admins 1st - hence may not have seen it)
These were looked up going by your previous post showing the full Model Number
If these were tried, Stating what โMay be an obvious commentโ But if Windows has been installed 3 times from Fresh, AND the correct drivers are all installed, and still a problem - then there can be a faulty hardware related issue.Comment

get your hands on some external speakers, even a pair of headphones, to see if you get some sort of audio on some device!
what type of reinstall of Windows did you try - over the top of the current one or from a USB stick created using the Windows Media Creation Tool and having it delete all current drive partitions and installing a completely fresh OS?Comment

When you uninstalled the device did it ask you to delete the drivers?
You might have to reinstall an older driver via the deviceโs entry within device manager if it doesnโt show then check under show hidden devices.
Right click device.
Choose update driver.
Choose โbrowse my computer for driversโ.
Choose โlet me pick from a list of available drivers on my computerโ.
Choose the compatible hardware from the list, then choose next.
Choose one of the older drivers from the list shown, then click next.
This will then reinstall the driver.Comment
