I have been having a lot of problems with my NVMe drive recently. Sometimes when I am using it, the drive crashes with the stop code WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR and then promptly disappears from my bios when I open up boot menu. It takes a few power cycles for it to reappear. The drive in question is a Samsung EVO 970 1TB. I downloaded Samsung Magician but it says it cannot run a diagnostic - whenever I run the benchmark however it crashes a few seconds after I start it. CrystalDiskInfo says my disk is βgoodβ. There are no crash dumps for any of the blue screens. Recently I have also been getting a severe amount of crashes and it will also sometimes bring me to the screen where it says my boot manager is having an unexpected I/O error. It sounds like I just need a new drive, am I right on this assumption? Thanks.
Getting WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR with NVME drive, faulty disk or motherboard?

Was it created on the system that is having the issue?
Did you disconnected the affected drive?Comment
