    Asus K70IO camera upside down

Hello, I have an asus K70io and I have tried uninstalling the camera, reinstalling and reinstalling the whole of Windows but still the camera is upside down? I’ve also done all Microsoft updates available and installed up to date drivers.

Check under the camera’s setting or under the program which has the camera open for a flip mode or similar.

What application are you using to check the camera’s picture?

The default windows 10 camera application. I press start, type camera then click on camera application.

And Windows is up to date as well as the drivers for the camera?

                    More here:
Hi everyone. Since I installed Windows 10 on my laptop, the camera is upside down. I know that this is a common problem, I googled a lot and searched on the forum as well, some managed to fix it by installing some Sonix drivers but nothing has worked for

If you open another camera app - say Skype - you should be able to flip the camera to correct the problem while using the app.
The general suggestion is that Asus installs certain cameras upside down & the drive is supposed to flip the image but since Windows 10 this isn’t happening within the camera app.

                        That’s strange.
Are you running Windows 7 or Windows 10?
If Windows 10 then the camera isn’t compatible with that OS.
The only other option is the purchase a USB camera.

Have you tried your system restore and try to go back before the updates?

                            Or this..

First, if you can get into Windows, follow these steps to roll back an update:
                            [ol]
[li]Press Win+I to open the Settings app.[/li][li]Choose Update and Security.[/li][li]Click the Update History link.[/li][li]Click the Uninstall Updates link. …[/li][li]Choose the update you want to undo. …[/li][/ol]

Its just restoring back to the previous windows build.
