Be aware, the developer of Classic Shell has stopped work on it and no longer supports it.
I think he was looking for someone to take over it but not sure if that’s happened.
So with the moving goal post that is Win10, don’t expect it to work forever.
Which is why I stopped using it and learned to use/tweak the normal Start menu.

The app you referred to as Classic Start is actually Classic shell and is no longer supported. It has been been taken over and was renamed Open Shell some time back. Yes open shell is fully functional on Windows 10 and I currently use it on many PC’s without issue. Classic Shell was abandoned and one ofthe reasons given were because of the constant change/updates to Windows that continually broke it. Because of that suggest you move over to open shell which is maintained works well with 1903.

And this is where the demise of Classic Shell was discussed

      This is the latest version

Suggest you install Open Shell and get rid of Classic Shell. I have not had an issue installing Open Shell over the top of Classic Shell in the past, but of course I cannot guarantee you will have the same results as I have had.

The windows inbuilt backup is ok, but there are much better FREE options available. Apps that have much better range of options. To cut to the chase would recommend you look at Macrium reflect free, or Aomei backuper. Both of these apps will allow you to build a Windows PE boot disc which will let you restore your system (or individual files) even if Windows is broken, meaning you can restore from within Windows or from a boot disc to access your image files no matter where your saved files/images are.

        Gus,
Took your advice and Uninstalled Classic Shell/Start and Installed Open Shell - thanks for that.

As regards the backup, I’ll have a look at the Software you suggested and take it from there.
I probably need to get an external hardrive to be on the safe side??
