How do I add files to be burned onto a DVD disk with nero 2018 platinum video

Can someone explain to me how to do this step by step? I’ve tried watching u Tube, but it either too fast, or I get bombarded with uncessary loud overkill music which puts me right off. I have aspbergers and I find it a bit overwhelming.

    Many thanks.

Hopefully someone familiar with Nero will help, but gee there are a lot better, and less resource hungry burning software apps out there. Seeing you prefer not to use Youtube for helpful videos you may instead like to download the manual. This link HERE shows you how to get the manual from within your Nero application.

what about the inbuilt burner that has been in WIndows since… XP was it?
I was only using it in Win10 yesterday to burn a video to a DVD disc.

right click on the file/s you want to burn and select Send To and select the DVD unit.
Windows says something like You have files waiting to be burnt and gives a prompt to burn now or later.

Tried it once, but it wouldn’t play properly on my dads dvd player.

If you are willing to try another app, then there are heaps of free ones out there that have more features than Microsloths free offerings.

Here’s one I’ve used for many years that will allow you to easily update discs by adding more stuff to them

For dvd’s to play in most home type DVD players the discs have to be finalised.

                    BTW, no need to shout

Was I? Oh sorry, the font got stuck so I didn’t know how to change it back

I think they have been finalised. Do I need to import now into Nero?

No nothing of Nero since ceasing to use it years ago, much better free, less resource hogging software available.

Read the manual as per the link in post 2.

I’m really stuck with Nero platinum 2018 at the moment. I’ve tried importing all the files, but I keep getting a message saying Unable to insert C:\Users\Louise Topp\Videos\Babbacoomb village.nvc.

How can I sort this please? Otherwise, i might have to reload the photo files and use Ashampoo.

Why are you persisting with Nero, try another.
Even if it’s just to get over this particular hump.
