Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Couple of things of note in Speccy but before going into them can I ask a couple of questions.

Do you have the same problem when accessing data on the C: partition which is where Windows is.

Does the problem happen if you boot into Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Networking, if not tried see info here

Lets see what is starting up with your machine.

Please download [COLOR=rgb(0, 102, 204)]Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When you open the program, click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of all the startup entries on the Logon Tab in your next reply.[/COLOR]

Hi, I was out on a wedding celebration yesterday so couldn’t be available. I usually put all my programs on d drive and not on the system drive c. Haven’t checked the safe mode part, will try it today and reply.

I usually only use firefox. I use google chrome but only sometimes, so I am not sure if I have experienced the same problem when using it. I will try using it and see if the problem is there.

In Autoruns on the Logon Tab, uncheck the following items:

StartCN
KeyScrambler
CCleaner Monitoring
IDMan
Steam
Toolwiz TimeFreeze
Google Chrome
Microsoft Windows item highlighted in yellow

Reboot the computer after unchecking those items and let me know if there is any change.

Hi, I checked it and it was not only in browser, the mouse lagged even while reading documents. This is happening when the system is loading new info. Like scrolling a document, opening a link, opening a video. It only happens once or twice then turns normal for a long period before again lagging for few seconds.

Even after unchecking the specified logon boxes and restarting, it is the same.

You have Toolwiz TimeFreeze installed. Any changes done to your machine, will revert back to the day you installed this software. Can you remove this program and then follow the instructions below.

PC Hunter Scan!

Download PCHunter
Disable your antivirus prior to this scan!!
Unzip the program to your desktop.
You will need to run the version that is compatible with your windows.
If you are unsure if your operating system is 32 or 64 Bit please go HERE.
Right click either the 64 or 32 bit version and Run as Administrator.
After the program starts, go to the Examination Tab.
Click it once – Look at the bottom and check mark Hide Safe Items.
Then click Generate Examination Report.
Allow 5 to 10 minutes for the program to generate the report.
Once complete you will be able to click the Export Examination Report button.
Save it where you like and name it what you like.
Then copy the entire report, and paste it here in your next reply.

I disabled avast, but it still blocks pchunter app from running. The pchunter app says load driver error because of that (maybe) and the avast says self-defense blocked pchunter like shown in the attached image.

Can you uninstall Avast for now.. I’d really like to see that log. You will need to download a new copy of PChunter after you uninstall Avast.
