Sounds like you might’ve been pulling too much power. Now we wait to see if it finishes

You have a single rail rated at 83 Amps. From what I’m reading, each R9 390 requires 50 amps on a rail.

To verify that it is indeed a under-powered PSU to blame, run HWInfo and post how many watts and amps you’re pulling with one card, then both cards.

Start to analyze your hardware right now! HWiNFO has available as an Installer and Portable version for Windows (32/64-bit) and Portable version for DOS.

If that don’t work, try CPUID’s HWMONITOR. HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID

im sorry jmarket, but I am not sure what I need to do here. I have hwinfo downloaded and running. I can take a snip of it? I do not see an export or log. I do see where I can switch between gpu 0 and gpu 1 I currently do not have crossfire enabled…

You can take a snippet if possible. Otherwise you can post what it’s pulling on GPU 0 and 1 with and without crossfire enabled.

OK unfortunately HWINFO provides no info on GPU power draw. Go ahead and try HWMONITOR from CPUID. You can remove HwInfo from your computer.
