Have you tried the recovery options?

You can use macOS Recovery, your computer's built-in recovery system, to reinstall the Mac operating system. Reinstalling macOS doesn't remove your personal data.

What kind of CPU do you have?
If it is an M1/M2 keep pressing the Power Button and select Options.

If it is an i3/i5/i7 press Control + D and select Options

      Do that and post back.
I’ll tell you what to do.

              No that versed in Mac.

FYI link to the tech specs for that system.

If I am correct here us the MacOS for that system

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion is available for older systems that are not compatible with the latest version of macOS

Please supply the serial umber of the mac
This will give us the specs we need so we can give you the information you require.
The serial number will be on the bottom of the stand.
You may need a magnifying glass or take a pic.

First option is to see if you have internet recovery.
Immediately after hearing the Mac boot chime, hold down Command+Option+R – if you see the Apple logo you waited too long and need to reboot and try again.
If you click on the blue link (mac os lion installer) in post #7 it will take you to the download for the os.
May need snow leopard to be installed first.
