Did you get an option to install Linux alongside Linux? You should’ve gotten a screen similar to below:

All *nix installs besides Gentoo and Arch include a screen similar to above.

Lets try a command and see if we can get Linux to see and add Windows 10 to the loader.

Open Terminal
Form the Menus select Accessories
From the list on the right select Terminal.

Type the following command in and press enter.
[ICODE]sudo udate-grub[/ICODE]
You will be asked to enter in your password, do not worry nothing shows just completely type it in, and press enter.

You should get a screen similar to this

Reboot and see if windows 10 is listed and see if you can log in.

Haven’t tried the Windows 10 OS startup repair. Having a hard time trying to get the download on to my thumb-drive. I keep getting an error message. Barely understand how to use W 10. Linux seems even more difficult.

Something else to try if you are unable to get the machine going with linux.

I do remember that, and that is the selection that I made. There was another selection that I made that generated a warning so I went back, selected another option and then finished the install. That may have been where I screwed up, but I can’t remember any of the particulars.

Actually, Linux seems to be working just fine. Thanks for the links.

Ok then apparently my keyboard can not spell tonight.

Try typing this
sudo update-grub

Sorry about that.

I mean if you are unable to get windows 10 to boot, UltimateBoot Cd or FalconFour can repair your MBR.
