I've been thinking about three models. One of them is a Xiaomi, the other is a Samsung, and the third one is an ASUS.

-Xiaomi Mi 2K Gaming monitor 27 BHR5039GL
-Samsung Odyssey G5 S27DG500EU
-ASUS TUF GAMING VG27AQ

Which brand is more reliable. I'm thinking about samsung, because of its price, but i heard their panels aren't great

Most opinions on monitor brands are going to be subjective and anecdotal. What I usually do is research all the reviews on verified purchases.

That way, you obtain a high number of real-world experiences instead of having one person give their opinion.
In any quality test, the higher the number of results, the closer you get to objective facts.

For instance, I am 1 out of millions. Verified buyer reviews can be thousands out of millions.

Thanks, in my county there's only one review. however i got a problem w. the samsung. It's very close to my face, can i do smt with it? i tried it with AR, how would it look like on my desk

I used AR to simulate how would it look like on my desk. I was way too big, the screen itself was very close to my face, and the whole base was a bit too big. I don't want to buy a monitor holder. Shall i just leave it?

I first look at screen size and available ports.
Then look at warranty.
Then decide if I can afford it!

In my experience, Samsung is an excellant brand.
Pulled apart a LG screen many years ago, it had a Samsung panel inside.
So despite the outside badge, who knows what make of panel is on the inside.
Plus, let's be honest, how many are not made in China!

Most LCD's have 1 year, a few, like Samsung, have 3, which has been another reason I rate them above most others. The unit may still give issues but a long factory warranty gives you peace of mind that the company will stand behind their product.
