I am experience this weird sound as you can hear in the clip, it happens when I am in a fullscreen game
I tried capping FPS it worked in Valorant a bit (sounds much much quieter) but in Apex it doesn't work.
I've noticed that the same noise is also present in the PC, if I am not wrong its coming from the motherboard cpu area ish (can't really locate it)
Is this normal? should I be concerned and is there any possible fix?
Thanks

Here's the CLIP
one more thing, I can simply play sound over it and it's gone as it's very quiet but my worry is that this is not normal

BTW Forgot to mention my Build

CPU- Intel Core i5 12600KF
CPU Cooler- Antec Symphony 240 RGB
GPU- Gigabyte RTX 3070 Gaming OC
Motherboard- Gigabyte B660M ds3h
RAM - Corsair 2x8 16GB 3600MHz
SSD -Aorus M.2 NVMe 1TB GEN4
PSU- Antec HCG850 80+ Bronze Modular 850W

Maybe this way they might have a starting point.

What have you attempted checking?

Any of the fans?
Any of the drives?
Clean the dust from the system properly?
Checked the heat?

if I am not wrong its coming from the motherboard cpu area ish (can't really locate it)

What happens when you stop any one of the fans while the system is running does the sound stop?

Does the noise get lesser as the system is under a lighter load?

On another note, that PSU is not great for your current system, a gold or platinum 900W unit would be much better for the system, maybe even stretching to a 1000W if you felt like making your GPU extra happy.

Thanks for the concerns, idk if I can update much right now as I am not using my pc due to travelling a lot but I'll update as soon as I can. Thanks a lot
It's weird why the video isnt audible for you, I tried it on different devices and I could still hear the audio in the Youtube video, I'll try recording another when I can.

Yes it's not there when im browsing or on desktop, only when I launch a game, in Apex lobby for example its fairly audible but in lighter games its there but not as loud. (gets better if I cap FPS)
As for the PSU yes, it does sound cheap I got this thing prebuilt with a warranty of 3 years, I do get your points on it being gold or plat rated but I thought 800W was quite enough for my system.
Anyway, I think when I get the chance I'll take off the side panels and try to locate where the actual buzzing is coming from in the system and I'll update ASAP.

My guess is coil whine, the GPU would be my first bet. (Coil whine is not always a sign of anything bad, just noise that the cards can make sometimes, make sure to check temperatures).

If it ends up coming from a hard drive or the PSU you have a bigger problem on your hands.

You can buy a quality power supply with a 10 year warranty, gold/platinum rating is a must have for a 30 series card, and for - quite frankly - any unit that is not an office rig.

I see..
as I said I can't really check as of right now as I am away from my PC, but from what I've seen on Coil Whine and the noise I heard it seems that actual coil whine is much much higher pitch and louder, mine I can barely hear from my case, could it still be a less severe case of Coil Whine if it's not as high pitch or as loud?
I suppose I wont get any actual closure until I am back on my PC Thanks everyone, I'll update when I get the chance

It's my first guess as it is quite common with higher performance gaming GPUs.
