So I’ve been having this issue for the past few days and I’ve done everything that I can. My Pc has been completely fine until I got an update for a game that I play which crashed my pc I have deleted the game completely and after that didn’t work I hard reset my pc , updated all of my drivers, scanned my pc for any issues in my ram and storage nothing was reported, I’ve also scanned for viruses and nothing. My pc would run normally for a long time until I try to load any type game now I’m having the issue where my pc freezes while starting up . I’m starting to believe that it might be a PCU issue and that it’s dying because my other hardware I’ve scanned and nothing is wrong with it. I want to know if there is anything else I could possibly do before I buy another power supply and test my theory. If you need my Pc specs I shall provide.

I am sorry I missed this bit - could you please give the make model and power of your power supply.
From the speed fan you are running hot especially if this is just normal - No games running.
Before a new PSU I would look at the option of re-pasting the cpu fan. i can under if you are reluctant to try this. It might seem daunting but is not that hard to do.
Have a read of this and tell me what you think.
Step 1) Buy a Thermal Paste. I use Arctic Silver Click On Me BUT after watching this best Thermal Click On Me you could try This Click On Me
Step 2) Remove Power cord and open Computer and touch metal to Earth yourself or Buy this Click On Me
Static is a big killer of computers.
Step 3) Remove fan and heat sink Click On Me If not held on like this then should be screwed on or post back with pic.
Step 4) Clean CPU ( DO NOT REMOVE) and bottom of heat sink using Methylated spirits or Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
Step 5) Apply Thermal Paste Click On Me to CPU Everyone has a different method.
The aim is a nice covering Too little = Bad, Too much = Bad (Think Goldilocks and the three bears). Pic attached
Step 6) Reattach heatsink/fan (after the fan and fins are clean) Click On Me for intel or Click On Me for AMD
Step 7) Apply Power.
Step 8) Cross fingers and turn on computer and Test. Then close computer backup.
Step 9) report back here all is good and we will send your Tech certificate in the mail.

All Jokes aside this is something that can be done at home.
If no static wrist band ( I would recommend for a newbie) Always touch metal to earth yourself.

Yeah it seems manageable since I did build it, I’ll buy some thermal paste and I’ll get back to you when all is done. On another note if it’s a over heating issue it could be the location of the Pc because the room I reside isn’t very circulated and can get very hot so it could contribute to the high temps just a thought. I might attempt moving the setup to test it aswell. I wanna eliminate as many variables that I can to narrow down the issue.
 
Sounds like good steps.
Can I say 100% it is thermal Paste - No
Try moving the computer first as it is your system that is running the hottest.
Are all your fans clean and are the fins on the cpu fan clean.
Try that first
 
Yes actually, I havent moved the pc however I got the temps down by cooling down the room but not by much about 7 degrees cooler.
It was running at 57-58 degrees C but now its running 50-51 as you can see in the attached image.
unfortunately my pc still freezes at times but its not random its whenever I boot up a game or a specific app. for example a game like destiny will run flawlessly for hours but others that are less reliant on my gpu seem to freeze on boot.

Instead of a game like destiny that will run for hours. Can you give us a name of a game that does freeze.
Looking at speccy you have Tiworker.exe running. This is part of windows updates that can use a high percentage of CPU.
So if it is running when you are trying to run a game that is CPU heavy then you could be having a clash.
You could open task manager>Performance tab and watch the cpu as you start a game that you know causes problems.
Could you also kill Discord to test when running a game.
How would you feel about turning Off Nortons and turning on windows defender (so you are still protected)
This is purely to test. Nortons can be hard to turn off. You can use the suspend method then check Task manger to make sure all of it is stopped

Its random when to comes to games some will have no issues then that same game will freeze on boot or mid game destiny is the only one that is really consistent. as for discord ive tried doing so befoe and now when you asked it still happens if its closed, and im fine with turning it off however im truly thinking its my power supply now because today ive noticed two of my fans are spinning slower than usual.

Here is the Power supply info: CORSAIR CX Series CX650 650W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply, CP-9020122-NA
(it froze while typing this andIi had nothing open but my browser my cpu usage was minimal)
 
The grey label CX 650W was an improvement on the earlier green label model but it should still not be used on a more high end build like the OPs, Corsair recommend that the CX range only be used for entry level desktops that have either integrated graphics or the most basic of add on GPU suitable for office or school work.

If not planning to upgrade the GPU for a while the EVGA here with a ten year warranty is the quality that you need.

What will not be helping is the Power Plan.

Active power scheme: Razer Cortex Power Plan

All that junk like the above does is make weak components hotter and especially the insides of the PSU, changing the Power Plan to Balanced is a must.

I note that Speccy is flagging up various other issues, let us know if I can be of any assistance with those.
 
The PSU at your link = a massive big no no, vast amount of outlay for a brand that is on the avoid list, for an unbiased opinion please see the PSU links in my sig for brands that you can trust and brands to avoid.

Regarding Speccy, can you change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced then do some testing by using the computer as you normally would to see if the issue happens again, if it does. when you reply can you let us know/do the following;

What the PC was being used for when it happened.

Is Norton AV a free or a paid for product.

Can you explain what you mean by this, were you stuck with a black screen, the Windows spinning dots etc

Will come back to Norton shortly, atm we are tying to determine what is causing and when the PC freezes.

Two major things still left in Speccy is Windows is shown to not be installing updates and your RAM speed is too slow, the latter has been made harder to deal with than it needed to be by you not having the correct spec of RAM, your CPU is only good with RAM up to 3200MHz whereas you have 3600MHz, if you had 3200MHz you would only need to enable XMP in the BIOS and the RAM would be auto OCd to 3200MHz, if you enable XMP with your RAM it will auto OC to 3600MHz and the system will either not boot at all or it will blue screen on you.

You need to go into the BIOS and manually set the RAM to 3200MHz then restart the PC, do this then post back for the next step from us.
