I built it myself. When I don’t have the usb in it instantly goes to bios with no loading and with the usb it goes straight to this screen with no options.Who built it, yourself or a PC shop?
Do you get the usually "Hit F2 to enter setup" or whatever key is required to get into BIOS?
How did you make the windows usb?with the windows installation media usb
I followed your instructions and it still went straight to bios. Only had the monitor plugged in with no ssd 1 and one stick of ram. Had to leave the graphics card installed. If it goes straight into BIOS, that normally indicates a hardware error, usually hard drive.
Take out the memory sticks and graphics card (if applicable) and wipe their motherboard slots, their contact pins, and the circuit board with a soft bristled brush.
Then reseat and see if that helps.
Also try leaving the graphics card out if your motherboard and processor supports onboard graphics.
And try just one memory stick at a time if there are more than 1, and in different slots.
Lastly, disconnect all devices, externally and internally and see if it boots to BIOS, with an error message something like 'no keyboard found' or 'no hard drive found'.
I went to the Microsoft website and downloaded their installation media and installed it on the usb stick. How did you make the windows usb?
