Some of the off brand batteries (non OEM) do get warmer that they should.

Does the battery fell hot to the touch?

Are the fans spinning?
They may not all the time some will only if the system get to a certain temp.

Are they loud and making any type of noise?

Other than that I agree with @phillpower2 that a cooling tray would help with the heat issues.
