Basically, I tried to install an additional SSD drive to my cpu. Just cause I needed more space as I was close to running out. I bought a crucial MX500 2TB SSD, and have a
Intel Z370 LGA1151 Motherboard VDT73 IPCFL-SC. I believe they are compatible from what I checked. I have an alienware aurora R7, it has extra bays with power cable and I bought the sata3 cables to connect it to the motherboard.
When I booted up my pc, it shows the SSD in device manager however it does not show it in disk management. I believe it's cause in device manager it says device not migrated issue (see attached picture for exact log). I tried googling, and I installed the latest drivers, and tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and enable and disabling device and these did not work. Still had the same device not migrated issue.

I'm out of ideas for what the issue could be? the computer recognizes the drive, and it's supposed to be compatible and everything is updated. If anyone could help that would be appreciated! thanks

Did you initialize the SSD?
