Solved some part in my pc got sick and i can,t figure out which part it is

pc is from 2018
but last week it din,t wanted to start in the morning
it did post but after that all peripheral lights would turn off and it would be completely stuck mobo lights still worked tho
i did a few hard resets and after a few it starts windows
that and sometime with out clear reason windows would completely freeze up

i did some research and narrowed it down too either my hhd(i got a ssd as a boot drive) my psu or moba

but this is were i get stuck
i tried HW monitor but i can barely make heads or tails of it
i did notice that at idle my vcore is around 0.852v -- 1.536v
but if i truly stress the system and idle again it jerks between 0.392 -- 1.560
i don,t just wanna buy stuff and try cus i need my money quite badly

can someone give me some advice and point me too the right direction?

That PSU should not have been used anywhere near the GPU, Corsair make good PSUs but they must be used for what Corsair advise, your PSU for example is the below;

A 1080Ti is anything but basic and needs the support of a Gold efficiency rated PSU from a proven brand.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

i do have a question about them efficiency
isn,t that just for wall power-draw and lessening heat?

i get that paying more for electricty isn,t ideal but i din,t had the money at the time
is there and actual consideration to take into account here that im not seeing (like risk of damage) ?

im asking out of curousity kinda courious what you mean by not letting it get close too my gpu
is it that bad?

Not sure why you mentioned the RAM speed because 2666Mhz is the most appropriate for your CPU, what is slightly off is the fact that you have two different types, the speed may be the same but one set appears to be single rank and the other dual rank.

How long have you been using the four sticks of RAM together.

Sorry but what was meant is that you should never have used that PSU with the GPU that you have, you were provided with what Corsair advise as to what the PSU should be used for but to support what Corsair say you will find your PSU on Tier D • Recommended only for very cheap, iGPU systems here which is telling you that your PSU is only good enough for supporting onboard video such as Intel HD or in your case the AMD equivalent.

the psu part i think your mistaken the one i have is in b tier its the 2016 on gray label but nvm that


the ram were bought together and have been used in unizone since the beginning so since 2018
the reason i mention it is cus speccy was showing 1333mhz so i was like *whut? : D

No matter the colour of the label when it comes to use the use recommended by Corsair who we should all listen to is that it should only be used for integrated graphics.

Check the RAM info below and you will see that you have two different types, not that it matters being that you have had it for four years.

oh wow i never knew they were bought as a pair same product and everything oh well

but did you find any clues were my issues might have come from
or how i mght be able to figure it out?

got the advice to rebuild it cus heat expands metal explaining why it did start after a few tries
also makes sense being that it did get carried around a bit lately
i did a system wide stress test and its just purring like a kitten

i did learn a few things from you
especially that ram is calculated in pairs of 2 and calling a 4 dim a quad channel is really stupid : D
