  • Hello everyone We want to personally apologize to everyone for the downtime that we've experienced. We are working to get everything back up as quickly as possible. Due to the issues we've had, your password will need to be reset. Please click the button that says "Forgot Your Password" and change it. We are working to have things back to normal. Emails are fixed and should now send properly. Thank you all for your patience. Thanks, PCHF Management

Every time I try to install any program it shows me this: Could not access network location 9e0a\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\.

pls help me

That sounds like the stat menu folder has been moved to OneDrive or a networked HDD. I’d check OneDrive to see if this is the case.

There's nothing in OneDrive

Edit:

An independet Advisor on the microsoft forum replied to me yesterday with this.

It seems your Windows Start Menu folder is set to a network location.

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Click View and make sure 'Address Bar' is turned on.

1
Paste this into the Address Bar at the top and hit Enter.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.

2

Please provide a screenshot of that Registry Editor page.

But after I've done what he said he dosen't replied to me yet.

Does this happen on all installations?

Have you altered any installation settings?

Can you please provide the installation path you use when attempting to install a program?

Now might be a good time to get a Speccy.

You can find the info here on how to do so.

You want to upload it and paste the link in your reply as such:

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

It's not the first time I use speccy. But, How can it be helpfull in my case?

It allows us to see default program paths, system configurations, drivers, uptime, and specs among other things.

Since a PC has so many working parts, it can often be difficult to determine errors with only bits of knowledge. Speccy helps to fill in the gaps and get all of the trivial questions answered before they are even asked.

It's all a part of the troubleshooting process, Speccy just makes it go by a little more quickly and smoothly.
