Hello, im new to this forum and i hope i posted it in right thread.
Well my problem is that i bought this headset, bought the usb bluetooth dongle to connect the headset, sound works fine, but microphone doesnt work, it works on my phone when i connect it, sounds pretty good, but on pc it just doesnt get recognized, tried to configure it but idk whats the problem. Do you guys have any idea what it could be?

  • Check Sound Control Panel > Recording tab
  • Right-click, show disabled devices
  • Enable Bluetooth Headset microphone.

Tried that before, but never had that setting to enable it

Open device manager.
Hit the windows Key and R at the same time.
Type devmgmt.msc
Hit enter.

1. Uninstall your existing bluetooth stack (driver software that came with the bluetooth adapter).
2. Reboot your computer and click "Cancel" when Windows asks for the driver.
3.Run BluetoothDriverInstaller.exe and follow instructions of the wizard.

Download and install the BluetoothDriverInstaller_x64.exe this tool will usually find a decent generic blue tooth driver for your machine.

I followed all your steps, but when i reboot the pc the "drivers" are back on and it just connects back to my headset
Btw its a usb dongle, it didnt come with any drivers, Windows installed it by itself.. tried without rebooting but it just gives me this error:
Removing existing driver ...
Error: System Error. Code: -536870389.

Does the microphone appear under sound settings?
Does the microphone work when wired? If it fits into the same connector then ensure it is fully inserted.
I take it your PC doesn’t natively have Bluetooth so I wonder if it is the case that the Bluetooth USB needs to be audio capable or something.

1. No it doesnt, just the Headset shows up
2. It does, its detachable from the headset so i just literally fit it into the front panel of the pc case, immediately showed up and worked flawlessly, and yeah it is fully inserted in the headset.
3. Had to buy external usb Bluetooth Dongle to connect the Headset
Works on phone and not computer.
I would suspect faulty dongle.
Yeah, thats what im assuming too, i ll try to connect the dongle on my brothers PC and see if it still causes problems, will let you guys know when i do it, just came home from 14hr shift :|
