That's okay! I appreciate the help ... everyone.Went a looked at my Mint 18 and they relocated Terminal to Administration now.
Glad you were able to get it.
I do remember that, and that is the selection that I made. There was another selection that I made that generated a warning so I went back, selected another option and then finished the install. That may have been where I screwed up, but I can't remember any of the particulars.Did you get an option to install Linux alongside Linux? You should've gotten a screen similar to below:
All *nix installs besides Gentoo and Arch include a screen similar to above.
Something else to try if you are unable to get the machine going with linux.
- Download the Ultimate Boot CD for windows.
- Or the FalconFour CD
- Start the video below at 53 minutes.
- Follow the instructions for using the Ultimate Boot CD.
- Run the Fix HDC Hard Drive Controller fix...
Actually, Linux seems to be working just fine. Thanks for the links.
Oops! Sorry for my misunderstanding, and again, thank you.I mean if you are unable to get windows 10 to boot, UltimateBoot Cd or FalconFour can repair your MBR.
By the way, I'm, currently, back in business, w-Windows 10!!
