Hello greetings

I have my workstation running on Windows 10, recently there were issues with the LAN port of my motherboard. it stopped working.
I had an ethernet PCI LAN card. I don't have a CD for the same.
I tried to install manually update the drivers(by auto searching online for drivers), but it showed - "windows was unable to install your ethernet controller".

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

then I googled with the hardware IDs-
|PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8111&SUBSYS_811110EC&REV_10
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8111&SUBSYS_811110EC
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8111&CC_020000
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8111&CC_0200

some of the Drivers which I found were not compatible with windows 10.

I need to install Compabile drivers for this pic ethernet card
Please help, this would help many like me. thankyou.

What specifically do you mean by workstation?

Have you tried what was suggested on the other forums that you posted this on?
"workstation" you can take that as a normal PC with RX 480 graphic card on PCI 16 slot.
"other forums" - Not many forums but just a Microsoft forum as my PC runs on Windows OS. i guess choosing this pchelpforum as the 2nd most preferable with the rest of the world's, is not regrettable.

If you are suggesting to follow I suggested method at a time. then I will surely come back here if I don't find any answer elsewhere. thankyou

If you are already receiving assistance on any other forum, doing so may lead to confusion as to whose and what guidance you are following which can be both dangerous and costly.

If you follow trouble shooting steps from different forums at the same time can cause the current issue that you are having to become worse.
