i had turned my pc off and then back on again, but now the pc turns on (fans lights etc work) but there’s no signal to the monitors or power to the keyboard or mic, although the leds of the mouse still work for some reason. i tried unplugging everything and putting it back and disconnecting the hard drives but nothings worked.

You need to supply some information about your PC.
Is it a big brand e.g HP Dell etc. If yes make and model + serial/service tag No.
If not make and model of the motherboard.
Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

Try a cmos clear.
Before touching parts of the mb touch a piece of metal to earth yourself.
msi 450 Cmos.JPG

Power off and remove power cord.
Press the on button a couple of time to drain residual power.
Remove cmos battery for 10mins
Reseat cmos battery
Test

Power off
Remove ram
Clear cmos
insert 1 ram stick only in slot A2 test.
If no good
Power off
Remove ram
Clear cmos
insert different ram stick only in slot A2 test.
Do this with all your ram sticks.
Only have 1 ram stick in at a time.

no luck with that either

Have you tried a different cable, monitor, and peripherals?

Did you notice anything last time you were using your PC? Maybe a funny noise when operating, starting, or shutdown?

i’ve tried both monitors and a different keyboard, and what had happened is i turned my pc off and everything was fine but forgot i needed to do something so 5 minutes later got back on and suddenly nothing was working out of nowhere.

Is this a self-built system? Who/where did you get it from? Doing this sort of work on the inside may void your warranty, especially if you're unfamiliar and cause damage.

Working on the inside of a computer isn't difficult, re-seating GPUs is about as easy as it gets, but I wouldn't want to cause any damage by advising you to do something you're not comfortable with.
