G'day Papa D. Here is a bit of trivia that may help calm your nerves in regards to reading these log files. The trick is knowing what should be in them, what should not be in them, what will be in them regardless of whether your PC is running right or not and what pertains to your issue. Most things will be harmless. Someone good with these log files can separate the fluff from the chaff. Not to worry. :)
Im not having a bad time, just keep getting interuppted by customers with petty issues "My water meter is spinning and the leak is in the yard, can you come right away" "My air conditioner is not running, its 100 degrees in the house and I have a new born, can you come right away" Chill out people, I have serious issues, my R9's won't crossfire....I appreciate the encouragement LC :)

When you installed the os again what devices did you have connected?
I may have accidentally plugged up the secondary HDD thinking it was the media drive. Its unplugged now. I had the media drive plugged up so I could install network driver from disc. my mouse and keyboard. and speakers. the onboard devices usb, card reader.
Hi there,

Don't mind me, just chirping in here :)

I see in your log that "RzWizard.exe" faulted and rebooted your computer. I need you to remove it and try it again. My gut and brain still point to a overloaded PSU.

RzWizard.exe is related to Razer hardware, but I'm curious to see if you can remove it and run the benchmark without rebooting. If so, that was the culprit. If not, I'm leaning towards your PSU not being able to handle 2 R9 cards in a CF configuration without resetting itself in protection.
Yeah, that is the razer sysnopses I choose do not install, it is wanting to install cause the mouse is plugged in and its settings are in a cloud. Maybe I shoul duse a different mouse, but will try to locate the exe and remove it.

The single card runs furmark with no trouble. Am going to try 3d mark now with single card. Then switch cards and repeat.

Thank all of you for helping. I am far better with my trades than I am computers!

Ok if you have to reinstall the os again only connect the mouse, keyboard and monitor..This should help with those core drivers that failed to install. Then if all goes well connect one device at a time and give it time to setup.

both cards benchmark well, so That should rule out bad cards. So, power supply as suggested already to my thick head several times. (Guild mate is an IT person and said first time it happened that it was PSU) or maybe the pci slot on MOBO is bad? Have to do some other things for a little while, but will google how to test my pci slots. If it turns out to be a PSU, my options are to run a single card and give other card to wife (love her but not really liking that one, plus it will probably require a bigger PSU on her machine, so I would be buying a PSU anyways) or buy another PSU, and maybe a graphics card compatible with HER current set up to sweeten the deal.....

One of my wife's favorite past times lately is phases like:

"Still not working? Oh Honey Im sorry, youll get it figured out. Now, what was wrong with your old one, cause I am using it and it seems to be fine to me, How much did you spend on that again?"

Sadly, im starting to feel like I deserve the RAZ ROFL, gotta Love her!

So,anyone care to jump out there and reccomend a PSU for this build? Ifindeed that is the solution?

Thanks Vger, Ill keep that in mind. Great Tip!

Ok the power requirements i have found are 1100 watts with at least 33 amps or higher on the 12 volt for cross fire.. You could get the same brand you have now or cosair,antec,thermaltake...etc

Also as suspected these r 390's produce a lot of heat..

Note: see my link to psu requirements for graphic cards..

Since voltage reading are good in BIOS, I assume this puts the power supply question to rest?

http://outervision.com/b/ACsiTZ

I have 1000 watts with 87 AMP on 12V

Rosewill Quark 1000

@vger, did i add that up wrong on the above link, I was laughing cause I clicked on your signature link yesterday I think and ran that calc, which says the PSU i ahve is fine, but again, maybe I did it wrong? THat isnt to say that the PSU is faulty, or perhaps the PCI slot...

Really trying to understand what I missed so i dont make the same mistake in the future. I ran the power calculation with the newegg calculator. So I guess I am asking if I entered it wrong, or just read it wrong?

I appreciate your help and advice!

oh, I see. It lists r9 390 and r9 390 CF, I thought cf was another model. DOH. so the calculator is off, and I am using all of my 1000 watts with the crossfire, which leaves nothing for the rest. Ok, I am going to order a new psu. think ill just go 1200.
Some of what I am reading doesn't list rosewill as a top pick of brand, other hand I have heard they are good. PC P&C? going to look around.....

Ok I ordered a new PSU. Will let y'all know how that works out. :)
Ok hopefully that will solve that issue. If it was me/imho i would another clean install, like the way i described to you earlier. When you get the other psu.

What Razor mouse do you have? I have the DeathAdder 3.5G....it's quite old but it still works just fine. I use the Synapse 2.0 and it took me a long time to convince myself to use/keep using it...as I hated the cloud based software. So I used and continued to use the Legacy driver for it for a long time....it just worked better on my older hardware....it seemed to me it did.

With my new build (over a year old now) and windows 10....I opted to use the Synapse 2.0 software and have never looked back.

I run the Naga Chroma Mouse and currently running Tartarus game pad both on synapse, I love it. I play alot of Ultima Online, and the multiple profiles makes it so easy to switch from toon to toon and have all macros custom. I am thinking of upgrading to the tartarus chroma but really the only difference I can see is the ability to change the lights, not sure thats worth the dollars to me, as Wife makes me turn off the lights anyways so she can sleep LOL

of coarse, according to the tracking, it should be here sometime tomorrow. I will also do a clean install as suggested by Vger.

Looks good. You'll have 100 amps on the 12v rail so you'll have plenty of power :) But I have no experience with that brand, only top brands.
