Hey!

So I built my very first gaming pc, with all parts working fine but there is no signal to the monitor. I have taken the ram out and in and have tested the HDMI cable elsewhere so I am a little lost. Also do I need more than the HDMI cable plugged into my graphics card and monitor, or is the lack of another cable possibly causing a problem?

thank you!!

a lost new builder.

have you given the graphics card any extra power cable it needs?
and No, just the HDMI from the graphics card to the back of the monitor is all you need, and to make sure the monitor's input source is set to HDMI.
