I just got a new:
GPU: RTX 2080
CPU: i5 9600k
Motherboard: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE

After getting everything wired and in the build, i turned on the power and everything in the build (psu, gpu, cpu, motherboard lights) turned on along with the fans.

However.. my monitor detects nothing. The monitor is plugged directly into the gpu, and ive tried many things but cannot get the monitor to detect anything.

Any help? I spent $850+ and am hoping someone can help me fix /:

Please, no need to quote previous posts.

Recommended minimum system power for that graphic card is 650 watts.

Remove your graphics card from the PC, plug your monitor into the onboard graphics on the motherboard, reboot and see if you have video.

Yes! I discover 1-2 bent/rusted/worn pins on the motherboard that was sent. The replacement should be delievered soon

Thanks for letting us know that assistance was no longer required, you will hopefully have better luck with the replacement board (y)
