All these problems started no to ling ago, so I dont think that it is causing annything
Sorry but it is a problem and for the reasons previously explained, having more than one AV installed compromises both the security and the performance of a computer, especially with internet connectivity and online gaming in particular.

If you can find the sales documents for the computer it should tell you what software was bundled with it, if you can find the info we have a good chance of being able to get rid of it.

Question, Speccy says that there is 16GB of RAM but tells us nothing about it, do you know if it is 2 Xs 8GB sticks or is it a single 16GB stick.

I can tell you, that I did not find my pc docs. I might have a better look tommorow (late hours for me right now). Have no clue about the RAM, but my good guess is one stick. If theres anny info about that in the docs, ill tell you

So I looked for the documents. The problem is, that my parents bought the laptop and don't have any documents. They tell me "It didn't come with any documents" "We bought it online, and it didn't get delivered with any documents"

I tried looking up online, on how to find out why there is still Norton running on my pc, but didn't find anything. To be honest, I have no clue what to do next. Sorry for keeping you waiting for my response, I had some personal things to attend to. I tried looking up where my pc was bought, but the website doesn't sell this model of laptops I have right now. (By the way, it's an MSI GF63 8RD, forget what I posted above).

No worries about the documents, we will come back to Norton later.

The specs for your computer here are somewhat vague so can you download and run CPU-Z (free) then take and upload screenshots of the RAM information for us.

Here you go:

Your RAM is all good, 16GB working in dual channel mode as it should be.

Back to Norton, it sometimes helps to reinstall a program and then uninstall it again when you cant get rid of all traces of the previous install, this goes for any program and not just AVs.

Download Norton Free from here use the computer as you normally would then just before you are ready to finish for the day follow the Norton uninstall info here

So, you can't donwload Norton if you don't have a product key you can activate, so I couldn't reinstall it again

You can try Norton free for 30 days, see info here you only need to install, go for lunch, come back and uninstall it by following the Norton uninstall info here
