Perhaps in your case enabling XMP will help. I know that ram is supposed to run at a certain level for different machines. I do not know enough about hardware to tell you exactly what it is in your case.

I'll tag the resident hardware expert, there is no guarantee he will reply, but in the mean time play around with the XMP settings.

@phillpower2 Could you lend your expertise here please.

Ive tried with both XMP enabled and off, right now I have it hard set at 4800MHz since that is what my CPU recommends. Now its a waiting game
 
Keep us updated, hopefully he will reply. I just do not know enough about hardware to help out.

That was a mistake on my part, but I have manually set that speed in Bios. Seen in this image. Is this enough to help that issue? Or does it still conflict?

I am the only idiot I know that upgraded to ddr5 unfortunately

The RAM is implicated in each of the three crash dmps, Cyberpunk and call of duty being the processes in two and the third when the system was pretty much doing nothing.

The MB specs say RAM up to 6400MHz (OC) but there is a slight problem with that, there is no compatible CPU available that can handle such a stock speed of RAM, 5600MHz is the fastest and that is for the latest high end 13th gen Intel CPUs.

Restoring the MBs optimised settings and leaving them there is the correct course of action, just remember the below for the future.

A CPU has to be compatible with a MB whereas the RAM has to be compatible with both the CPU and the MB, this because a MB may be able to function with faster RAM than the CPU intended for use in the build.

Pick your MB.

Check the MBs CPU support list before choosing a processor.

Check to see if a BIOS update would be required for the MB to be able to recognise any intended CPU.

Check the maximum RAM speed that the CPU can handle.

Check the MBs Memory support list to find the appropriate RAM speed for the CPU.
 
I fixed the issue... Really not sure how. I reinstalled all launchers and games. And reset my PC a few times. So far everything is running smoothly. I am also not 100% sure what could have caused all those inital crashes and problems when installing windows. Probably still the RAM (I had XMP enabled at the time). I appreciate all the help and advice!
