This is very weird. I've got no signal on my 4k monitor when using a specific 90 degrees bent HDMI cable (needed for monitoring it close to the wall).
But it works fine with another cable, so I'm thinking it's the cable. But the TV works fine with the bent cable. Must be the monitor with the cable then? I plugged the bent cable to my mac os laptop into the monitor with a great connection. So what am I doing wrong? it is a setting on my windows computer that is wrong?
Summary from tests:
Mac+monitor+bent_HDMI = Good
Windows+monitor+bent_HDMI =/= Bad
Windows+monitor+random_HDMI =Good
Windows+tv+bent_HDMI = Good
mac+tv+bent_HDMI = Good
All help is appreciated.
