So I did install clean the nvidea driver.

For intel I forgot that device manager don't see intel graphic, probably bc my GPU was detected and intel graphics desactivated. So it don't want to install bc cannot detect the device.

I'll go play to see if it works better now.

You can disconnect and unplug your GPU (taking it out of the system and disconnecting it from the motherboard).

Doing this will allow you to plug into the motherboard instead of the GPU and will show that the GPU is overdrawing from the PSU since it is not a sufficient unit.


A new power supply is your best option, please find a unit to test with or purchase a quality one from a retailer with a good return policy (We like buyer's insurance.)


You say you have ran DDU, please make sure you followed these steps when you did, the order in which you do things is important:

Run DDU and download a fresh installer executable from here.

An important note: You MUST download the driver executable and disconnect your computer from the internet before running DDU, otherwise Windows will automatically download drivers (which you don't want).

Once you have ran DDU in safe mode, boot up into a normal Windows session (ensuring that you aren't connected to the internet for even a moment) and run the NVIDIA installer.

Restart your computer from the power menu and see if this helps.

For now I didn't had bugs. But I also stopped the fan bc I was just doing office use (my fans are noisy) and forgot to launch them again for gaming.

About the PSU : something is bothering me; I see the 80+ sticker on my PSU from here, but I think I didn't missread the model. So you don't mean all 80+ are good? It's important that I understand to not buy wrongly :X3:
I still wanna test a friend's PSU before buying a new one, it's to help me see what I exactly want. (it could also be that I'm more interrested in limiting my GPU performance so it use less energy even if it's less powerful, to have time to gather money and all. Is it possible?)

Sometimes it works for a few hours and next time bug again so I'll keep you updated if I get new bugs !

Keeping temps under control is very important for gaming, parts will make themselves work less in an effort to prevent damage, something to keep an eye on.

I could put an 80+ sticker on anything, but it doesn't mean anything unless it's 80+ certified gold or higher, these are the requirements for a gaming machine. Look back at those resources I linked, Lumion talks about why gaming machines need 80+ Gold or higher and the PSU Database explains why models are good or bad iirc.

You could "undervolt" your graphics card, but with that power supply I would just remove the graphics card and replace the PSU as soon as possible, it's not worth the risk in my opinion.

Okay, then I'll see for the PSU.

I discovered something interresting. In the bios not all the fan are seen, but still work somehow ! It will be something more to explore for me, waiting for my new PSU to arrive and be installed. (Well, still need to choose one)

For the People who read this post to help them find the problem, here is my experience :

- Check Windows and driver
- Check if your computer is really well built and all connections still well plug
- If the problem is still here, could be defect componant.

If you have fans plugged into a hub (I don't recall you mentioning one), it will only show a single fan header/fan as active.

So, after last crash I restarted my computer as usual, and I had a little line of green points after bios so I cannot even go in windows

I searched again what was the name of the 'box' of my computer and found it !

It seems to be a 'BitFenix Prodigy M 2022 ARGB' white with leds.
Btw yeah, I have so kind of little hub for fans + led. Is it important?

So now I'm on my phone to write this and I try to open and see what's in my computer with help of youtube haha (maybe I should see how to unbuilt computer instead of how to built one) trying to plug out my gpu but still stuck (and I don't wanna force bc I don't want to break it so I'm going slowly)

Hello,

(First I'll let you know that I access Windows again ! Could evenplay a little before a crash. Bc I could see Bios loading before have green points line and be stuck, I restarted, accessed the bios and put it in 'recommanded parameters' and there was it working again ! But I didn't actually modify parameters in the bios so it's not really logic... Anyways ! )

Well I'm actually still looking into PSU. There is something I don't understand, it's in the tier list of psu, those single/multi rails and others things, what does that mean? Bc I was thinking maybe I can choose one that is in the tier list then I can be sure it's good but so much parameters....
Should I take a Tier A PSU? to have a good one I suppose Tier A, B, and C would be good. I don't have much money, so maybe not A, especially bc I see a lot of Platinium/Titanium here...
Btw it's always the same size or is there a chance it's to big or something to fit in the computer?
And what would be the right price for a PSU like you said, something between 100-150 is ok? I see models like you said but there is sometime a difference in price that is noticeable for me (50) and I'm not sure why...
Oh ! And also do you think I should take a 650W (like recommended in your link for my GPU) or 700W like just a little more to be sure?
About my way of choosing it, I think I would try to meet all criterium and then take the lowest price.

Criterium being :

• Modular
• 80 + Gold
• Corsair or EVGA or Seasonic
• 650W minimal

Am I right?

P.S. : I have already a lot of LEDs in my computer, but then I saw a Corsair PSU with LEDs xD What do you think? edit : no wait it is bronze, not gold ! Then no

So I tried to find the answer myself for how much Watt I need and it didn't work :

Youtube : They say either use a calculator (MSI which look closed or BeQuiet! but I'm stuck on this one) I also tried Corsair but then they just recommand a lots of model between 550-850W which is not very precise OR to use a formula to calculate : TDP CPU + 2*TDP GPU (add 30% if overclocked) but then I got (125+2*160)*1.3 = 578W which seems not much (I don't overclock I think, except the RAM, but I wanted to be sure)
Then on your site they say for my GPU it needs 650W ;

I've got to express my feelings I'm completly lost.

Btw maybe useless but my GPU has 6Go in VRam it seems. Just discovered that.

By trying to choose a model I also found out that it was easier to find a 750W than 700W...

And it doesn't tell me for things like rails, which are talked about in the Tier List. (I checked but still not sure what is best)

Be better off with a 750.

That's what I already readed ! But they say like they're the same, so I was still unsure... But you said both are good, so I'm just gonna ignore if the psu is or not single rail.

The PSU I use is a Tier A single rail as well, I have never had an issue with it, you will be okay.

Do you feel comfortable swapping a PSU in? It's not difficult, but it can be a bit confusing if it's your first time doing it.

Well I don't have any experience so what I did is look videos on how to change PSU (one of them was Corsair RMx 850W modular which is very alike to mine).

Don't worry I'll tell you if my computer explode bc I did it wrong (I brought it yesterday so it's coming on Monday)

Bc it's in Christmas time, I can return it if it doesn't help or something

Well I just discovered something : I was thinking maybe I need drivers for my fans, then I looked into download center of official source, didn't find anything so I started looking what was there like 'GPU Compatibility List' and I didn't find my GPU on the list
What does that mean? Is it why my motherboard is upside down? :X3:
I'm looking into it bc remote doesn't seems to work anymore....
