So I got a new computer for Christmas and it worked fine and was really happy about the whole thing. I loaded into the computer and the internet worked perfectly fine the moment. I downloaded steam and chrome and signed in. After downloading for about two seconds my connection was lost and the game stopped at 32Mb and never came back. I reset my computer after a while of fiddling with it and updated my drivers. I can connect to a hotspot but not my home wifi. Any ideas of what the problem is because it only seems to be me having this issue in my household.

Hello TwistedJester and welcome to PCHF.

Since this issue is only occurring on your home network, have you tried performing a power cycle on the modem and/or router?

Have you also checked for any firmware updates?

Any update for us TwistedJester? If unreplied to within 48hrs this thread will be closed.
