after moving with my pc, it’s been acting funny. The computer spins up and all the LED’s turn on but the computer wont put out a signal through any of the IO ports. The graphics card also wont put out any signal. My gut says it’s the motherboard but I don’t know for sure.

I’ve tried the following things:
- new cords to check connections
- dusting the parts off
- resetting CMOS battery
- Trying with different RAM configuration
- trying without GPU
- asking nicely (was worth a shot)

Additionally, there’s a small flash when I turn on the PC that seems odd to me. I’ll attach a photo of it below.

My specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Matisse 3.6GHz 8-Core AM4
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite
RAM: 32 GB (half Corsair and half Ballistix)
GPU: Radion 5500 XT
PSU: gamemax VP-600

Hi,

I would re-seat the memory modules and make sure all the connections from the power supply to the motherboard are secure.

If you have another video card available I would swap the video card to rule out a faulty video card that could be causing the issue.

I would also take out the CMOS battery and install it back in the motherboard which will reset your BIOS settings back to default and see if that helps.

I’ve actually just finished going through all the connections and it didn’t change anything. I took out the CMOS battery for about 5 mins too. Unfortunately, I don’t have an extra video card but I’ll ask around and see if I can borrow one from someone
