I just bought a gigabyte rtx 2070 and one of the fans makes a really weird noise I run "big" programs on my pc.

Also is there any way for me to compare stats from a new gpu to mine

or like a wobbling, knocking sort of noise?
can each fan be disconnected off its power header?

you could spray a small amount of CRC20 or WD40 or whatever equivalent your area has into the fan's bearing.
all depends of what is causing the noise - over heating, failing bearing, wear from age.

but ideally, I would be replacing that fan.

I dont think they can be disconected, it's a weird noise only happening sometimes
Its like scratching, knocking sound. It honestly might be wear for age because it atleast 2 years old

Thank you for your help

if it sounds like scratching, with the unit off, manually turn the fans, maybe the blades are scraping against a nearby part.

I fixed it by cleaning inside of a fan and oiling it.

I have 1 more question, how can i test and compare my used gpu to a new one to see how much performance it lost
