Hello all. I have been dying to upgrade my PC for a while now. And GPUs are finally obtainable. I grabbed a new 319 MERC 6750XT from Best Buy and just installed it in my system. I am running an i7 6700K with 32gb DDR4 Ram, my OS is on a 500gb Samsung SSD with a 2tb WB HDD and a 1TB m.2, and an EVGA Platinum 850.

When I go to the AMD website to get the drivers ahead of time, their 'auto installer' just recommends me the drivers I already have for my RX480. Despite me choosing 6750XT from their drop down list. When I try to install the 6750XT I sometimes get my boot BEEP. Sometimes don't. But it never makes it any further than the spinning windows circle flashing between that and the mouse. When I remove the card and replace it with my 480, it works fine. That's how I am posting this. Actually right now, I have both cards in the computer, just no power plugged into the 6750Xt. Any help here?

I have DDU installed, however since the AMD driver program only seems to find the RX480, I am wondering if I should remove all drivers. Unless the AMD update software will be able to see my 6750XT after I clear all drivers? I'll try it out. I just didnt want to wipe it without having the 6750 driver pre loaded.

Ok what do you mean by (all drivers) ?
I used DDUs recommended clean install for a new GPU. But when I install my 6750XT, I simply get no display signal at all now. I am no longer stuck on the spinning loading windows screen. And it does boot according to my PC speaker. But I get no display on HDMI or Displayport. Now I am back on my RX480 with weird *** resolution bc I removed the drivers in safemode lol.

I have reseated the card a few times, and it's lighting up via PCIE. Ignore the spaghetti wiring, I've been moving around the cards to different slots all day to make sure they all work. Right now the only way to get the computer to display at all is with the 6750 unplugged from power (or removed entirely)

What does the device manager show?
Since I deleted the GPU drivers its running off of the Microsoft stock drivers. But my HDMI is still plugged into my RX480 at the moment. It is showing an error, which I imagine is when the I removed the power from the 6750 and then turned the PC on?

When you are trying un-install these drivers, you are disconnected from the internet correct?

Yes, I was in safe mode uninstalling. However I think I may have made progress? I took out the 480 entirely, booted via Internet graphics on my i7. Then the AMD installer had no issue finding the 6750. I just never had a display to see what was going on. I now have my side screen open via HDMI on the IO panel, and my main screen IS WORKING through the 6750. Now i just need to reboot into BIOS, switch display to PCIE and see if it sticks. Here's to hoping lol

SUCCESS! Thank you all for your help. I was getting very frustrated. However chatting with you guys helped me get into a troubleshooting mindset and fix it. Very thankful for this forum.
