Hello, I've just booted up the bios, but I'm not quite sure where to find the setting you're describing.

I've got the tabs: Tweaker, Settings, System Info and Boot but none of those seem to have anything that you've mentioned unfortunately (unless I'm blind ofc)

EDIT: I think I found it as I sent this in, is it "Load Optimized Defaults" in the save & exit tab?

That's it (y)

You have to load the new settings and then save and exit the BIOS before restarting so that the new settings load on boot.

So far nothing that usually happens has happened yet, and I noticed when the BIOS was result to defaults it switched my RAM speed from 3700MHz to 2666MHz, I assume that was supposed to happen. (EDIT: on second thought I don't think it was 3700MHz, I think I was watching too many pc videos)

The RAM speed changing is normal and it confirms that which you were advised in my reply #18;

The RAM is not appropriate for your CPU, AMD state here up to 3200MHz/MT/s and if you have DOCP/XMP enabled the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC will become unstable.

demoment,

You visited the forum but left no update, do you still require assistance or shall we mark your thread.

I do not require any further assistance, thank you for your help throughout all of this, muchly appreciated! I'll be sure to look into getting a new PSU.
