The video drivers were most likely the cause of the above behaviour.Then the OpenCL.dll error popped up again.
You should not have installed anything else only followed the exact steps that were provided for you.I installed the new driver and the OpenCL.dll error is no longer appearing,
For you to do, check for and install any Windows updates, if the system runs stable create a new system restore point, try the the recommended version of the driver, test, if all is ok, create a new restore point then post back, if still issues, try the optional drivers, test then post back with an update for us.
The above suggests that you went looking for and needlessly updated the previously installed stable driver and have ended up back at square one as a consequencebut the AMD Radeon notification that came up before didn't pop up this time and going directly into the settings app didn't give me an option to look for the update suggestions it gave me before. I went through the device manager, display adapters, and updated the device driver. I found instructions how to do that online because the settings app didn't give me any update options, so I can't find the optional drivers either.
After I installed the driver, it froze about 30 minutes after I left my computer alone.
You should have post back after you had installed the drivers that got rid of the OpenCL.dll message, fully aware of the freezing history and what we are trying to do here is get the computer running stable using the Vega graphics accompanied by just the AMD Recommended driver and nothing else, you may have to start from the beginning again I`m afraidDid I do something wrong?

Did you misunderstand my reply #50;

I checked for Windows updates and the only thing that came up was an update for Windows defender. I waited and my computer froze on me. I tried to find the optional driver that was on the AMD Radeon settings, but, like I said in my previous response, it didn't give me an option to update this time so I used a different way to update the driver that I found online, not from another forum, which I described. If that's not what I was supposed to do, then I guess I did misunderstand.
Sorry Conroyale but I am confused
You previously told us that you installed the driver and that the OpenCL.dll error was no longer appearing, this suggests that you had installed the correct driver and that things were stable.
The above suggests that you went looking for and needlessly updated the previously installed stable driver and have ended up back at square one as a consequence
You may recall that it has been mentioned previously that after installing Windows you then install the drivers required for the MB and GPU and then you leave well alone, driver updates are released to address known issues and if you are not having issues you do not update any drivers, this the main reason why Windows should not be allowed to download and update any drivers automatically.
