I am having issues with grey/white boxes appearing around text in certain programs, so far I have found it in chrome and spotify. I noticed this recently after a windows update. I've tried:
  • updating graphics drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling both programs, but to no avail
  • downloading firefox to see if the problem would persist there as well, but it doesn't
  • running virus checks, such as malwarebytes premium, but it's clean.
Everything else is operating normally and I can't seem to find anything online to help me narrow down what the problem might be.

Sorry folks but don`t use Spotify so wouldn't know if there was anything wrong in that attachment or not I`m afraid :(

It's not just Spotify, it's also google chrome. I added a snap of what my gmail looks like through chrome. These grey/white boxes are driving me nuts!
