I have recently installed Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit on a laptop with an AMD Radeon R3 GPU. I've spent two weeks at this point trying to sort everything out. I have pretty much every other driver installed aside from the graphics adapter.

When I try installing this, I get a blank command prompt. If I try turning it off, the next time I turn it on it gets stuck on launch. I end up having to uninstall it using safe mode.

Can you help me with this? I am this close to finishing my XP install. Thank you.

I usually do not suggest these types of programs, but this may be a special case.

I would just ignore anything else the prgrams suggest to install, and only use them to see if they can find a graphics driver for the machine.

DriverMax You get two drivers in a 24 hour period.
Snappy Driver installer

You will certainly want to create a restore point prior to installing the drivers they suggest. I have had success with these tools after hours of searching gave up and these tools have actually done well.

Only shows these as not installed, according to this log it shows your graphics driver is installed. Although it is not or you would not be here...

Yeah, it recognises the display driver and tries to get me to install it every time. It just never installs properly.

Have you tried driver max ?

Or the windows 7 32 bit version?

Well, none worked. The Windows 7 driver gave me a "not Win32 application" error, and DriverMax told me the graphics driver needed no updates after "installing" a driver.

Oh, and it also prevented me from restarting/turning off my PC via the start menu until I uninstalled it. Even still I get an error that I never got when I try shutting it down.

The display adapter asks me to install AMD Catalyst, and that installer crashes.

I tried the 32-bit installer for the network controller, but it tells me it's not compatible with Windows XP.

That didn't work either. It seemingly installs properly and even pulls up the XP driver setup. But the driver setup tells me it can't run, and I get a "Problem occurred while installing this driver" pop-up.

Now I have a missing Network Controller, Ethernet Adapter and PCI device.

Thank you for trying to help me install my network controllers but I already have an external antenna and it works just fine. My display adapter is the real priority here, as my computer runs slowly without it.
