So basically I was playing Total War Three Kingdoms one night and while loading into a battle my pc froze up and wasn’t responding so I turned it off.

Since then whenever I turn on my PC only the internal fans and lights turn on, while the mouse and keyboard dont light up at all, and the display is unresponsive— just black, not even any bios.

So far I’ve tested the RAM by trying some of my friends RAM on it, same thing; I tried running it off of my motherboard by removing the GPU and putting the HDMI into the board, same thing; I removed the lithium battery and put it back, same thing; and I tried running it off of a different power supply and same thing.

I’m at somewhat of a loss now and just in need of some advice for things to try next or if you have any insight into which piece needs replacing. The pieces I’ve yet to test are the SSD and the CPU.

Thanks in advance! Hoping to figure it out soon, I’ve just tested positive for covid and need my pc running.
 
slight chance it's the CPU, but much more likely is the motherboard.
I would normally add the PSU to those potential culprits, but it looks like you have already crossed that off the list.

I would be reassembling all the bits out of the case and onto a piece of cardboard on a table or floor.
that'll give you a chance to eyeball each component, clean off dust, wipe the appropriate circuitry contact points and the motherboard slots, and re-connect only the core essentials needed to boot the PC. so only use one RAM stick, leave out the DVD unit (if applicable), leave off the GPU and use the onboard video ports (if CPU supports this), and even leave off the mouse/keyboard just to see if you can at least get something on the screen, and get into BIOS.
